We will host Paul Rahe, the Charles O. Lee and Louise K. Lee Chair in the Western Heritage at Hillsdale College, as our evening keynote speaker. Dr. Rahe, a Rhodes Scholar, is the author of many books, including the classic trilogy Republics Ancient and Modern. Yale University Press will release Dr. Rahe’s most recent book, The Spartan Regime: Its Character, Origins and Grand Strategy, in September 2016. 

Wilfred McClay, the G.T. and Libby Blankenship Chair in the History of Liberty at the University of Oklahoma, will deliver the luncheon address. Dr. McClay, a noted intellectual historian, has written a number of books, including most recently Why Place Matters: Geography, Identity, and Civic Life in Modern America.
