Video: Shifting Sands: Flimsy Food Findings

National Association of Scholars

The National Association of Scholars launched our second report in the Shifting Sands series on July 12th.

This discussion highlights the need for broad and specific reforms to how the Food and Drug Administration procures and produces research to ensure America's regulations are based on sound science. Without these reforms, our government is relying on potentially faulty research to create and enforce regulations that affect the quality of life for millions of Americans.

The launch event features Louis Anthony Cox, Professor, Department of Biostatistics and Informatics, University of Colorado, and Jay Cordes, a data scientist and co-author of The 9 Pitfalls of Data Science. The event will also include report authors Stanley Young, Director of the Shifting Sands Project,  CEO of CGStat and Research Fellow, National Association of Scholars; Warren Kindzierski, retired Professor, St. Albert, Alberta; and David Randall, Director of Research for the National Association of Scholars.
