Jason Fertig, a professor at the University of Southern Indiana, introduced panel speakers for Session 3 on The Higher Education Bubble: Ballooning Prices, Crippling Debt, Declining Standards, New Competition, and the Future of the College Degree. George Leef, director of research at the John W. Pope Center for Higher Education Policy, addressed three questions: "How did we get into this bubble?" "What are the consequences of the bubble?" and "What is going to bring about the deflation of the bubble?" Andrew Gillen, the research director at the Education Sector, spoke about enrollment and cost, the two bubbles in higher education that will most likely prove unsustainable.  Michael Poliakoff, the vice president of policy at the American Council of Trustees and Alumni, presented data on student test scores and tuition fees as evidence for the decline of American higher education. The session concluded with a Q&A time. Session 3 was part of the National Association of Scholars' 25th anniversary conference, "A Mighty Maze" on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the Harvard Club in New York.

The videos for each speaker and the Q&A session are below and on NAS's YouTube Channel. Photos from the conference are available on NAS's Flickr page.
