Academic Freedom in an Age of Conformity

Joanna Williams is the Education Editor of the online magazine, Spiked and Director of the Centre for the Study of Higher Education at the University of Kent in the United Kingdom. She contributes regularly to education debates in the national press. Her previous book, Consuming Higher Education: Why Learning Can’t Be Bought, was published in 2013. Her latest, Academic Freedom in an Age of Conformity,  published by Palgrave Macmillan, will appear later this year.
