Livestream: White House Conference on American History

National Association of Scholars

American K-12 history education is in dire straits. The 1619 Project-inspired curricula developed by The New York Times and the Pulitzer Center is but the latest example of the anti-American, anti-historical history “education” that pervades American public schools.

Increasingly, our children are taught to hate the United States, starting at its very founding, and to join the progressive radicals seeking to tear it down. What was once fact-based, unbiased education is now blatant leftist indoctrination—it must be stopped, both for the sake of our children and for the future of America as a whole.

Today at 12:15 pm Eastern Time, the White House will host an event to expose and combat this widespread problem: the “White House Conference on American History.” The conference brings together renowned American historians, scholars, and educators to discuss how our country is fighting the indoctrination of our children through unpatriotic American history curricula.

The event’s speakers include the National Association of Scholars’ very own President Peter W. Wood, Wilfred M. McClay, Mary Grabar, and Allen C. Guelzo. President Trump himself will also be speaking to conclude the conference.

The conference will take place at 12:15 pm ET and can be livestreamed here:

President Trump will subsequently deliver his remarks at 2 pm ET here:
