National Association of Scholars

Join us for a conference call on March 3rd, at 3 pm as former NAS President Steve Balch tells listeners about his work on "American History for Freedom," upcoming legislation to fund the project, and what you can do to help it over the finish line. The American History for Freedom Program was authorized in the 2008 Higher Education Act to promote and impart knowledge of free institutions, the American founding, and Western civilization.

What: American History for Freedom
When: March 3rd, 3:00-4:00 PM Eastern
Where: Call into 855-369-0450 and use the conference code 61-811-724 #.

We'll also discuss how you can help push the American History for Freedom Program over the finish line. Senators Chris Coons of Delware and John Cornyn of Texas have introduced the U.S. Civics Act (S.2024) to fund the program.
