On Wednesday, we released Critical Care, a plan to guide the federal response to the unprecedented disruptions facing higher education in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. Our guidelines put students first, support students in need, refocus colleges and universities on rigorous classroom instruction, and prioritize intellectual freedom and intellectual diversity on campus.
Join us today at 3:30 PM for a conference call with NAS President Peter Wood and Director of Research David Randall, the primary authors of Critical Care. We’ll discuss the principles that should guide any federal support for higher education—and share some ways that NAS members can use the toolkit below to advocate for good policy.
