Scholars Milgram and Stotsky Explain Problems with the Common Core

On KTVN 2 News' Face The State, mathematician and Stanford University professor Dr. Jim Milgram and English language arts specialist and University of Arkansas professor emerita Dr. Sandra Stotsky sat down with news anchor Arianna Bennett to discuss the implementation of the Common Core State Standards for K-12 Education. Both Stotsky and Milgram were on the Validation Committee for the Common Core and both were unwilling to sign off on the final project because neither believed that the Common Core had fulfilled its goals.
