More Good News on the Value of Your College Degree

Glenn Ricketts

NAS board member Thomas Lindsay has some observations on the situation of many recent college graduates in this piece over at NRO.   It’s a pretty dismal scenario: lots of very heavy debt that paid for a pretty lightweight education.  What else can you say about expensive degrees in sports leadership or popular culture, whose recipients probably write “should of” as they fill out job applications in a highly competitive bear market.

You’ve got to wonder if those maligned mail order diplomas of yore aren’t starting to look pretty good right about now.  They probably provide the same educational depth as your popular culture degree, and will cost whole lot less money.
