National Association of Scholars

I am pleased to introduce our Summer 2020 communications intern, Leah Thomas.

Leah graduated from The King’s College earlier this summer with a bachelor’s degree in Media, Culture, and the Arts. Prior to joining the National Association of Scholars, she worked as an editor at Root Inc.

Leah had this to say about joining the National Association of Scholars:

To educate is to debate. As our society continues to challenge what we should consider “mainstream” or acceptable, it is crucial that our educational institutions continue to debate these issues openly. It is my privilege to join an organization that is committed to preserving the principles of a liberal arts education. NAS protects the right to learn by thinking, analyzing, and reasoning (which inevitably includes disagreeing) in the classroom. It is only by championing debate that we properly educate our citizens. For this reason, I am proud to be working for such an organization and its members.

We are delighted to welcome Leah to the NAS team. You can reach Leah by email at [email protected].
