Lucas is a rising senior studying Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (PPE) at The King's College in New York.  He competes internationally in British Parliamentary style debate and has previously worked as a field associate for Americans for Prosperity.

Here's what he about joining the National Association of Scholars:

The National Association of Scholars promotes the freedom of thought necessary to meaningfully pursue truth in higher education.  Their work builds a foundation upon which academic excellence can be maintained and improved.  I am excited to work for NAS because I care deeply about the pursuit of truth, and that is exactly what NAS seeks to protect.
