For Students: Challenge of Liberty Summer Seminars

Ashley Thorne

The following is an announcement from our friends at the Independent Institute. We invite NAS readers to consider passing along the info for these seminars to students who may be interested.

Few students have the opportunity to join with top scholars to learn the moral and economic principles of free markets and free societies. Yet these principles are essential for preparing students to achieve better lives for themselves, their communities, and the world at large. Held in the San Francisco Bay Area, The Challenge of Liberty Summer Seminars help both high school and college students better understand real-world issues they will encounter throughout life.

Students are hence invited to enroll today in these very popular, five-day seminars, featuring an outstanding faculty and an integrated curriculum with lectures, readings, films, multimedia presentations, and small group discussions. Informative, inspiring, and fun, The Challenge of Liberty Summer Seminars are an ideal way to make the summer break intellectually rewarding by getting a real edge in understanding and appreciating the ideas of individual liberty, personal responsibility, free markets, civic virtue, and the rule of law.

High School Students: June 18–22 • Independent Institute Conference Center

College Students: July 30–August 3 • Notre Dame de Namur University

With limited space, please enroll today for this year’s Seminars, and to apply for a scholarship, please complete the Summer Seminar Scholarship Application
