I’m pleased to introduce Christopher Kendall, the newest staff member at the National Association of Scholars. Christopher joined NAS as a development associate on July 5, 2017.
Christopher is a 2015 graduate of The King’s College, where he majored in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics. He also studied abroad at New College in Oxford University. Before joining NAS, Christopher was a development communications assistant at the Charles Koch Foundation and a Senior Policy Advisor at the Texas State House of Representatives.
Christopher will manage NAS’s fundraising for our work of defending Western civilization and the pursuit of truth in higher education. He will plan and execute our direct mail campaigns, cultivate relationships with donors, and lead NAS’s efforts to recruit and serve NAS members.
Here is what Christopher had to say about starting at NAS:
Some names naturally call to mind associations with greatness: Augustine, Aristotle, Beethoven. These names have a staying power that is breathtaking in depth and extent. When it comes to excellence in higher education, NAS has a similar staying power. For 30 years, NAS has been a tireless advocate of academic freedom and civil discourse in American higher education. NAS’s emphasis on the pursuit of truth as a fundamental aspect of academic freedom has long resonated with me, and I am immensely excited to be joining the team at NAS as we look forward to the next 30 years.
Please join me in welcoming Christopher to NAS. He may be reached at [email protected].
