The Spring 2019 issue of AQ carried the article “Wanted: Strong Leaders for Higher Education” by Jane Clark. The original article mistakenly said that the cost of tuition at Purdue University in 2012, when Mitch Daniels became president, was $20,032. That number includes board for on-campus students. The cost of tuition alone at that time was $9,992 for in-state students. The online version of that article, available at this link https://www.nas.org/academic-questions/32/1/strong_leadership_mitch_daniels_shows_the_way#Fn43, has been corrected.
